The Pediatric Medicine Clinics at McMaster Children's Hospital provides outpatient care to over 100,000 pediatric patients from Hamilton and the surrounding area. It is a dynamic, fast paced environment comprised of numerous sub-specialty clinics that facilitate the unique health care needs of children, using a family centered model of care The Data Management Assistant will work with the Clinical team of the Children’s Exercise and Nutrition Clinic to manage existing databases including tracking and coordinating data collection, modifying existing questionnaires, and entering data. With program leadership direction, responsibilities will also include the expansion of existing databases to include MOH required data, and producing reports from databases for team members.

- Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
- College level Medical Transcription Diploma
- Previous data entry experience
- Advanced level skills in using the following computer programs: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Meditech, EMR
- Demonstrated good communication skills with all members of the critical care team
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high accuracy
Qualifications – Internal
- Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
