Clean environments are essential to quality healthcare. As a Day Cleaner, you will contribute directly to patient and employee safety by maintaining cleanliness and supporting infection prevention practices throughout our healthcare facility. Primary Function: The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are continuously maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The ability to switch tasks quickly to deal with immediate issues is significant. Although not dealing with patients directly, excellent customer service skills and adhering to strict confidentiality policies are essential.

Tasks and Duties:

Cleaning and caring for the facilities will include but is not limited to the following:

- Washrooms: wash and disinfect the toilets and sinks, shine mirrors, wipe down walls, fill paper towel holders (were needed) and napkin holders.
- Dust and/or disinfect office desks, chairs, exam beds, scales, and garbage pails.
- Tidy, dust and disinfect all waiting rooms.
- Remove finger marks from doors, glass, hardware and walls and elevators.




- Disinfect entrance and exit areas and handrails (all high touch areas).
- Provide cleanup of spills or messes when paged.
- As part of the emergency response team, you will attend and support all codes.

Hours are Monday to Friday with a shifts scheduled between 7AM and 5PM AI technology is used in our recruitment process to assist with screening; however, all final hiring decisions are made by human reviewers.

Salary Range: $33000-$37500 per year
