Overview

Position Summary The Delivery Coordinator for the New Car Departmentis responsible foroverseeing and executinga smooth, professional, and customer-focusedvehicle delivery experience. This roleensures thatallnew vehicledeliveries are properly prepared, documented, and presented in alignment with OEM and dealership standards. The ideal candidate is organized,detail-oriented,customer centric, and capable of managing multiple tasks in afast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Qualifications





Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule new vehicle deliveries with customers and the sales team.
- Prepare vehicles for delivery by confirming completion of PDI, detailing, fueling, and accessory installations.
- Review all delivery documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with OEM and dealership requirements.
- Provide customers with a thorough vehicle orientation, including feature demonstrations, technology setup, and owner resource explanations.
- Ensure delivery spaces and presentation areas are clean, organized, and aligned with dealership brand standards.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Service, and Inventory teams to ensure all steps of the delivery process are completed on time.
- Assist with follow‑up communications to ensure customer satisfaction and address any postdelivery questions.
- Maintain delivery logs, track delivery metrics, and prepare reports for department management.
- Assist in organizing customer events, new model launches, or delivery related promotions as needed.
- Support general administrative tasks within the Recent Car Department to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Any other duties assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in customer service, dealership operations, vehicle delivery, or automotive support preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable explaining vehicle technology and assisting customers with setup and feature instruction.
- Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS), CRM platforms, and standard office software.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
