Dental office in Richmond Hill is looking for an experience Dental Assistant Level II to join their team.

POSITION/JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Experienced Dental Assistant, min 1+years

- Must be HARP certified

- Must have excellent command of the English language

LOCATION: Richmond Hill (Yonge/King Rd-free parking)

HOURS:

- Mon (arrive 11:30-8)

- Tues (arrive 11:30-8)

- Wed (arrive 8:30-5)

- Thurs (arrive 8:30-5)

- Fri (arrive 7-2/3)

- Sat (arrive 7-2/3) alternating, get​​​ 1 day off through the week

COMPENSATION: ​$23-$28 depending on experience and performance

JOB OVERVIEW:

- Assisting dentist during dental procedures that features handing instruments and other materials

- Assisting dentist with surgery, root canals, crowns, bridges, veneers, implants invisalign, fillings, extractions and mouth guards

- Placement and removal of rubber dams

- Taking x-rays of patients' teeth and exposing dental diagnostic x-rays





- Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths explicit and dry during procedures

- Taking preliminary impressions

- Applying pit and fissure sealants and topical anesthetics

- Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist's reference

- Advising patients on dental care, oral hygiene and plaque control programs

- Making patients of all ages feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
