Duties

- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and restorations with precision and care
- Assist the dentist during various treatments by preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort throughout procedures
- Review patient medical histories and update records accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Dentrix
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term dental health
- Take diagnostic images using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology to support accurate treatment planning
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups,



and billing processes efficiently within the practice management software
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards in compliance with healthcare regulations

Requirements

- Valid dental license or certification to practice as a Dental Associate in the respective region
- Proven experience working in a dental office environment with familiarity using Dentrix or similar practice management software
- Knowledge of Epic electronic health record systems is highly desirable for seamless documentation
- Experience providing dental care to pediatric patients (Pediatrics) is a strong plus
- Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology and explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages
- Proficiency in utilizing CAD technology for diagnostic imaging or restorative procedures preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting
