Position: Full Time Permanent Join our team as Director of Housing & Sport Venture! Society is seeking a Director of Housing & Sport Venture to provide strategic leadership and oversight for our Housing and Sport Venture portfolios. As a member of the leadership team, the Director will play a key role in advancing Ranch Ehrlo's mission by leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of affordable and supportive housing services, as well as community-based recreation and sport programming that promotes inclusion, independence, and positive outcomes for participants. This is an exciting opportunity for a cooperative and forward-thinking leader with advanced experience in supportive housing, community-based services, property management, and recreational programming .
The successful candidate will bring strong strategic vision, operational expertise, and the ability to develop and maintain meaningful partnerships with government, Indigenous organizations, community agencies, funders, landlords, sport and recreation partners, and other key stakeholders. The Director will provide leadership to a team of managers and employees, ensuring effective service delivery, strong financial stewardship, regulatory compliance, quality improvement,
and alignment with Ranch Ehrlo's strategic priorities. This role will also oversee program budgets, resource allocation, operational planning, risk management, and the ongoing development of services that respond to community needs.
Undergraduate degree in business, social work, or a related field. Certificate or diploma in property management. Minimum six (6) years of experience in a management or senior leadership role.
Experience overseeing community housing and/or recreational program services.
Experience in property management, real estate, or working with individuals experiencing complex barriers to housing is considered an asset. Advanced knowledge and experience developing, implementing, and overseeing supportive housing initiatives and community-based recreational services. Demonstrated ability to build collaborative networks and establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Strong financial management skills, including budget development, resource allocation, and monitoring. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
