Duties

- Thoroughly wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are sanitized regularly
- Sort and organize clean items for efficient storage and easy access by kitchen staff
- Assist with food handling tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with sanitation standards
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment by removing trash and recycling materials promptly
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service





Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking or food preparation, can enhance your effectiveness in this role
- Experience working in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
