Busy Marina in APSLEY requires Labourers

This job starts as soon as possible. Duties include;

- Assist with prepping boats for summer season
- Assist with shrinkwrapping and cleaning boats in the fall
- assist marine mechanic as directed
- assist carpenters as directed
- assist with storing floating docks - this requires strength and agility
- filling fuel for customers
- strong experience driving with a trailer
- launching and loading boats, hooking up trailers to vehicles
- moving docks on the lake for
- yard maintenance work including cutting grass and chainsaw work
- other tasks as assigned

Wages are dependent on skill and experience. We have two locations, this position is primarily based at our lakeside location. Most of the job tasks will be outdoors. There is much variety in this job as it works across almost all elements of the marina. You would be joining a small staff who work well together. Perks are available after 3 months service. This is a full time position and starts right away.

If you are interested in this job,



you should have the ability to lift heavy objects, including boards of lumber and ability to hold a heavy shrinkwrap wand overhead for long periods of time. You must also have experience driving with a trailer and have a clean driving record. A pleasurecraft operator's card is an asset.

As there is no public transportation, a reliable vehicle is a requirement. Agility is required as it is necessary to safely climb in and out of boats both on water and on land. A clean tidy appearance is required as it involves customer interaction.
