Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Earthworks Foreman specializing in excavation and site development to lead our construction teams in delivering high-quality earthmoving projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of excavation, grading, and site preparation activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, extensive construction experience, and a keen eye for quality control.

As a pivotal leader on-site, you will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to drive project success from start to finish.

Duties

- Lead and supervise excavation and earthwork crews to ensure timely completion of site development tasks.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to guide excavation activities accurately.
- Oversee the use of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking and documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, quality control measures, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers on scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor progress, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions.




- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure materials and equipment meet project specifications and deadlines.

Experience

- Proven supervising experience in earthworks, excavation, or site development projects within the construction industry.
- Extensive construction experience with a solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools.
- Solid knowledge of quality control procedures and safety protocols on active construction sites.
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to meet project goals.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Prior experience in using construction estimating techniques and managing site schematics is highly desirable.
