What You'll Be Doing

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will lead projects throughout their full lifecycle, providing both technical expertise and project leadership while ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage multiple electrical engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Conduct electrical system investigations, condition assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations.
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for new construction, modernization, and retrofit projects.
- Design and oversee systems including:
- Power distribution systems
- Incoming electrical services
- Emergency power systems
- Lighting systems
- Life safety systems
- Building electrical infrastructure

- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
- Develop budget estimates and cost assessments for capital improvement and construction projects.




- Review and coordinate submissions to applicable authorities and regulatory agencies.
- Lead procurement and tendering activities, including bid analysis, contractor evaluations, and client recommendations.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Review shop drawings and technical submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct site reviews and construction inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to design standards.
- Provide contract administration services and support throughout construction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated project solutions.
- Assist in mentoring junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and trusted technical advice.
- Stay current with evolving industry standards, technologies, and best practices to deliver innovative solutions.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Eligible for professional engineering registration or actively working toward professional licensure.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing electrical engineering projects within a consulting environment.
- Experience delivering projects within commercial, residential high-rise, institutional, industrial, or mixed-use developments.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project and client sites.

Technical Expertise

- Strong knowledge of electrical building systems, power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and life safety systems.
- Understanding of applicable building, electrical, and safety codes and standards.
- Experience preparing engineering designs, specifications,



reports, and tender documentation.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard engineering software.
- Strong project management, budgeting, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination skills.
