Cobs Bread (Independent Franchisee) under HC Foods LTD is looking for a Bakery Manager to work at their North Vancouver store.

The business is in need of a Bakery Manager in order to accommodate expanding needs of the business.

Job Location: 3105 Edgemont Blvd. North Vancouver, BC V7R 2N7
Work location: On site
Salary: 44.72 hourly / 40 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent employment, Full time
Employment conditions: Flexible hours
Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Job requirements

- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
- Work setting: Urban area, Bakery

Responsibilities

Tasks: Manage staff and assign duties, Determine merchandise and services to be sold, Implement price and credits policies, Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, Determine staffing requirements, Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers, Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations




Supervision: 5-10 people, Staff in various areas of responsibility

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system, Word processing software, Electronic mail, Spreadsheet
