About this opportunity

Reporting to our Senior Consultants, you will build your engineering knowledge base to become a Professional Engineer and Certified Energy Manager. You will be expected to progress rapidly, and given a high degree of responsibility and autonomy to support project delivery to our industrial customer base, including food & beverage, forestry products and manufacturing sectors.

Applying your technical and problem solving expertise, you will support:

- Energy, utility and resource conservation studies and projects.
- Process optimization and loss reduction initiatives.
- P&IDs;, CAD drawings and project documentation generation.
- Energy Management Information System (EMIS) software integration.
- Lean Manufacturing software deployment and integration.

Location Remote work and customer sites, reporting into our Toronto Office.

Key attributes and skills

We welcome applications from candidates meeting the following criteria:

- Bachelor's degree (completed or in final year) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Thrive in a customer-facing role, in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and strive to exceed client expectations.
- A desire to gain deep technical knowledge relating to industrial energy, resource conservation and process optimization.
- Ability to confidently communicate technical information effectively to various audiences in presentations and your technical report writing, planning and organizational skills are excellent.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with limited available technical information is a must.




- Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, basic data analysis); exposure to Python, VBA, or MATLAB is a strong asset.
- Coursework or project experience in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, or energy systems.
- Familiarity with industrial engineering processes is beneficial.
