Responsibilities

- Design and deliver dynamic lessons that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and respectful dialogue
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support growth
- Incorporate proofreading, writing exercises, and literary analysis to enhance language proficiency
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and share best teaching practices




- Support students with special education needs by adapting instructional strategies as necessary
- Maintain organized records of attendance, grades, and student performance for ongoing evaluation

Experience

- Proven classroom experience teaching high school English or related subjects
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability in proofreading, editing, and guiding students through writing assignments
- Experience in tutoring or providing additional support for students requiring extra help
- Knowledge of special education principles and inclusive teaching strategies is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills to manage lesson plans, assessments, and student records effectively
