Onyx-Fire Protection Services is the fastest growing full-service fire protection company in the GTA. At this time we are aggressively seeking an Estimating Administrator.
Key Responsibilities
- Covert field reports to customer presentable format
- Communicate with field technicians for accuracy
- Prepare quotations for repairs and deficiency rectification
- Apply pricing to materials and labour for fire protection equipment related repairs
- Convert bulk costing to line item pricing
- Perform relief reception duties as required
Qualifications
- General knowledge of quoting and quotation
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Motivated self starter
- Strong English language skills required
- Typing and Computer skills
- Ability to present technical data in clear simple terms
- Willing to work extended hours to ensure quota completion
- Ability to plan for / meet deadlines
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word
- Solid understanding and commitment to the requirements of confidentiality
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to details and the ability to multitask
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- A positive and can-do attitude that enable you to deal with challenging situation with integrity, empathy and sincerity.
- Ability to deal effectively and courteously with all staff, customers and general public
- General knowledge of fire alarm systems and sprinkler system is a strong asset
- A team player with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Familiar with current NFPA and Ontario Fire Code Requirements is an asset
