Evening Commercial Cleaner (Part-Time)

Royal Cleaning Co. – Chatham, ON

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected Start Date: Immediately

Royal Cleaning Co. is a locally owned and growing commercial cleaning company proudly serving businesses throughout Chatham-Kent. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team.

Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM

Friday: 5:30 PM to approximately 10:30 PM

Approximately 17 hours per week.

Optional Saturday shifts are available every week for team members who would like to earn additional income.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your primary responsibility will be cleaning and sanitizing a licensed daycare centre each evening to provide a clean, safe, and healthy setting for children and staff.

Daily duties include:

Cleaning and sanitizing classroom tables and high-touch surfaces

Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors

Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms

Emptying garbage, recycling, and diaper pails

Taking garbage to the designated outdoor bins

Cleaning entrance doors and entryway glass as needed

Dusting windowsills, ledges, and general surfaces

Wiping light switches, door handles, and other frequently touched areas

Restocking paper products and soap as needed

Spot cleaning walls and doors as needed





Locking and securing the building at the end of each shift

Friendly, respectful, and professional

Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including bending, lifting, and standing throughout the shift

Requirements

Valid G driver’s licence

Reliable vehicle with valid insurance

Cell phone with data for our mobile time clock and communication

Legally eligible to work in Canada

Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check suitable for working in a daycare environment
