As part of the community mental health team, your role will consist of assessing mental statuses and creating collaborative, person-centered care strategies. You will need to engage actively with clients, families, and community partners, ensuring that care practices are culturally sensitive and effective. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients’ mental health and develop individual treatment plans
• Organize and conduct culturally relevant mental health education
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support to clients




• Connect clients with mental health and community services
• Maintain thorough documentation of nursing actions and patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Graduate from an approved Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing School
• At least two years of relevant mental health experience
• Current registration with BCCNM as a nurse
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and reliable access to a vehicle
• Robust understanding of Aboriginal community health practices
