StartupFuel is a leader in startup due diligence for private markets.
We offer DiligenceGPTâ¢, an advanced decision-support platform built on decades of research, data, science, AI, and expert insights. This is a full time hybrid internship based in Toronto with one in-office day per week. The position is unpaid and leads to consideration for a paid full-time intern role in the summer. Four internship positions are open, and two will convert to paid full-time roles.
The Executive Assistant Intern will work directly with StartupFuel’s leadership team to support scheduling, planning, communication, and operational coordination. The role focuses on enabling leadership to work efficiently by managing calendars, preparing materials, organizing workflows, and supporting high-priority meetings and tasks. You will help streamline internal operations, coordinate with multiple teams, prepare summaries and briefs, and ensure that leadership activities run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting preparation for leadership.
- Prepare agendas, notes, action items, and follow-up summaries after meetings.
- Assist with organizing leadership workflows, priorities, and weekly planning.
- Support communication by drafting emails, internal updates, and short briefing materials.
- Help coordinate cross-functional tasks with product, marketing, sales, and operations.
- Maintain organized records, documents, and leadership resources.
- Assist with planning internal and external meetings, events, and partnerships.
- Conduct research to support strategic projects and leadership decision-making.
Requirements
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage calendars, tasks, and priorities with accuracy.
- Comfortable working closely with leadership and handling time-sensitive tasks.
- Detail-oriented and able to keep information structured and organized.
- Strong writing ability for notes, briefs, and short communications.
- Interest in operations, administration, and cross-functional coordination.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Communications, Operations, or a related field.
