Overview

As an Expedia Cruises Manager, you will handle the day-to-day operation of our store and assist our team of Vacation Consultants to achieve their personal sales goals and in turn achieve our organizational goals. You will leverage your sales experience to assist the team in growing their annual sales year over year as well as getting the team to focus on selling products that will increase their revenue. You will moderate monthly team meetings, and you will also moderate monthly recruitment presentations.

The Expedia Cruises Manager is responsible to drives sales results through consistent execution of the core franchise programs and through increased Cruise Consultant team engagement achieved through coaching team members as needed, utilizing corporate training programs and activities, and utilizing supplier training and support tools. This support & service is centered around the Expedia Cruises Strategic Compass behaviors including;

What You Will Do

- Develop well thought out and executable communications plans
- Go Get What’s Next by training, motivating and assisting our team of Vacation Consultants to grow their business
- Moderate monthly meetings – celebrate successes, include key training initiatives, review how the team is tracking to our goals etc.
- Gather relevant information to communicate basic concepts clearly
- Facilitate & moderate video conferencing calls for key events such recruitment presentations, some remote promotional events and other team meetings as necessary
- Manage the bottom-line using data driven tools like Power BI and CruiseDesk




- Support and train the team on improving their revenue year over year
- Daily Travel Order review & administration
- Monthly recruiting new Vacation Consultants
- On-boarding all new consultants within 90 days
- Working with the ownership group to organize promotional events on-site and off-site as needed
- Manage the office schedule
- Manage the office supplies
- Other responsibilities as required

Requirements

- 3 to 5 years of work experience coaching in a sales environment; travel industry preferred
- Self-motivated to pursue sales activities that support and grow the Company
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong people skills with ability to recognize what motivates individuals
- Well organized, thorough, multi-tasker who enjoys a agile environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Cruise Line and Tour Operator systems and policies preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
