Role Description The Experienced Microsoft Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Burlington, ON. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft-based infrastructure solutions, including Exchange, SharePoint, and related services within client environments.

Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, performing system upgrades and migrations, automating administrative tasks using PowerShell, and ensuring security and compliance across Microsoft platforms. The engineer will collaborate with other technical team members, contribute to solution planning and documentation,



and provide guidance to clients on best practices and optimization of their Microsoft environments. The role also involves participating in project deployments, maintaining manufacturer certifications, and supporting continuous improvement of Telecom Computer’s service offerings.

Qualifications

- Strong Microsoft Exchange, O365, and related messaging infrastructure skills, including configuration, maintenance, and migration.
- Experience with SharePoint administration and support, including site management, permissions, and integrations.
- Proficiency in PowerShell for automation, scripting, and management of Microsoft environments.
- Solid troubleshooting abilities and broad Information Technology knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments is an asset.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified) are preferred.
- Ability to work in office in Burlington, ON, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and project teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills, with a focus on delivering reliable, secure solutions.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
