The Happy Valley Family Health Team (FHT) located in St. Marys, ON. is recruiting a physician to join the group of 11.
The group is co-located in a state of the art medical building with an on site health/fitness facility (YMCA).
Physicians practicing at the Happy Valley FHT are well supported by a multi-disciplinary team of professionals including NPs, nurses, dietician, pharmacist, mental health worker, addictions counsellor and administrative support.
Hospitalist and ED work for those interested in available at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, located adjacent to the clinic. St.
Marys Memorial Hospital is a 20 bed well equipped hospital. The emergency department is single coverage and staffed 24/7 by family physicians with local back up available. The hospital has on site specialty clinics in Internal Medicine and Surgical Services.
Requirements
Physicians can choose to provide full scope family medicine including, ED, hospitalist, nursing home and palliative care (+/-).
All physicians as part of the group do provide some level of hospital coverage.
Family physicians are well supported through colleagues at Stratford General Hospital, approximately 15 mins away.
St. Marys is centrally located between Stratford and London. The community is a 90 minute drive West of Toronto and approximately 25 mins from London and 15 mins from Stratford.
