Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine the layout and specifications of the project
- Use various tools and equipment such as cranes, rigging equipment, forklifts, and hand tools to assemble and weld metal components
- Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and stick welding to join metal parts together
- Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Use plasma cutting equipment to cut metal pieces according to project requirements
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working setting
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fitting and welding
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting welding symbols
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding techniques and processes
- Ability to operate cranes, rigging equipment, forklifts, and other tools safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with assembling metal components using various welding methods
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measurements and calculations

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
