Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth operations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and possess strong communication and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently and accurately
- Prepare basic food items and assist with food presentation when needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and service stations
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and serving
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up stations and cleaning
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Manage customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred




- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a busy setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
