Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including tables, stations, and dining spaces
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure guest safety at all times
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and basic math for accurate cash handling and billing
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
