Job Overview: Responsible for the Food Safety support to G&G; Operations and deployment of Food Safety programs at the G&G; manufacturing sites in compliance with Mondelēz Global Quality Policies; to perform end to end food safety risk assessments during the manufacturing process; to build capability to the G&G; operations teams.
Key Responsibilities: Deployment of Food Safety programs: Support the manufacturing site’s implementation and maintenance of the food safety programs, in compliance with Mondelēz requirements. Monitor and trend G&G; food safety scorecard, assess food safety risk factors, develop improvement strategies and escalate food safety deviation to the QLT and Global FS team Responsible for Food Safety Assessments, including but not limited to the following: Ensure Risk Assessment is employed as the key decision-making approach for Product, Process and Package. Provide risk-based food safety verifications for suppliers, manufacturing sites, warehouses, and transportation and customer Conduct HACCP validations and re-analysis.
Support effective management of operational Food Safety challenges at factories including disposition recommendations based on risk assessment.
Food Safety Risk
Assessments to support plant notifications and critical business issues (Crisis Management) Assess, review, and approve R&D;, Engineering and Supply Chain projects Partner with facilities on improvement strategies for quality and food safety compliance Development of capabilities and competencies in the short and long term to the plant quality teams and HACCP coordinators Support for CAPA plans in the full Supply Chain related to Food Safety. Promote the implementation of a Food Safety culture across the organization. Influence and partner with cross functional peers,
effectively communicating how Food Safety supports our company values.
Support for QCMS audits and other compliance requirements FS policies Provide cross-functional technical expertise to QA, R&D; and Operations Develop and provide training on company food safety management requirements. Participate in GFSI, customer and supplier audits as required Recipe for Success: Completion of Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience 2-4 years in Food Safety and Quality in the food industry Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification(s) Proficient with office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams. Ability to run analytics and use database systems to create reports Possess strong customer service, interpersonal skills, an approachable demeanor, and an active listener Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills with an effective ability to coach and influence others Strong knowledge of CFIA/Health Canada/FDA/USDA/GFSI/HACCP Benchmarks Auditing an asset Ability to manage and communicate sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion Excellent ability to focus and prioritize in a fast-moving environment Attention to detail, strong technical knowledge and analytical capability What We Can Offer: It’s an exciting time to be part of the Give & Go team as we are growing rapidly and want you to become a part our growth and extraordinarily bright future.
