Forklift Operator | Part-Time | $21.54/Hour

Mississauga, ON – Evening ShiftMonday to Friday | 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM Cardinal Couriers is looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to join our Hamilton Operations team. This role involves loading and unloading freight, scanning, weight verification, and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. This is a physically demanding position in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities. Organize and secure materials, such as boxes, pallets, and super stacks in a safe way. Pick orders from inventory using a pick sheet, monitor and maintain inventory. Load and unload freight from trailers and dock areas.

Scan and weigh freight. Ensure freight is properly secured and damage-free. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Pre-trip Forklift inspection at start of each shift and hand in inspection sheet end of shift to supervisor Report on equipment issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.

Perform quality checks.





Requirements Minimum 2 years of driving Counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.

Ability to load/unload packages weighing up to 70 lbs., including scanning and weight verification. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Own a pair of safety boots.

Experience with staging, loading, and unloading trailers. Team player with a professional attitude & have positive relations with customers and colleagues. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in a quick-paced environment.
