Job Summary and Requirements

This chance is for a permanent IT Support Technician working 75 hours biweekly.

The Workers’ Safety and Compensation Board (WSCB) administers workplace health and safety and workers’ compensation in the territory. WSCB’s mission is to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses in partnership with employers and workers and to support workers when injuries occur. We take care of injured workers by facilitating their stay at work, return to work and recovery.

The Role:

Reporting to the Business Technology Manager, the IT Support Technician is an Information Technology generalist position that offers professional networking, client support, and technological asset administration services to client departments.



The IT Support Technician maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments. This role is primarily focused on end-user, systems, and application support.

Essential Qualifications:

- Post-secondary coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field;
- Experience providing technical support in a team environment;
- Experience installing and maintaining computer software, hardware, and related computing environments;
- Experience supporting a Microsoft environment.
