Position Summary
Project Coordinator (Finance) to support project management activities within a dynamic project environment. Responsible for timely and accurate monthly progress claims, invoicing compliance, and tracking project costs and variances. Also responds to customer inquiries and participates in process improvements.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Assist finance, warehouse, and Service Delivery teams in processing supplier invoices in SAP.
- Monitor project team timesheets and distribute reminders on a weekly basis.
- Track program financials, material costs, and resolve deficiencies.
- Support labor entry, reconciliations, and customer material reports.
- Prepare and deliver monthly material claim, invoices, annexes, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally on business process improvements, risk and change management, and project closure.
Regulatory Compliance
Requires direct or indirect access to hardware, software or technical information controlled under the Canadian Export Control List, the Canadian Controlled Goods Program, the Canadian Industrial Security Program, the US ITAR and/or the EAR. All applicants must be eligible or able to obtain authorization, including Canadian NATO Secret clearance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in a similar role within the last ten years.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Robust organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Sharepoint, PowerPoint, and JIRA.
- Familiarity with ERP tools such as SAP is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Project Management or similar.
- Detailed knowledge of the Defence sector.
- Experience supporting contract administration.

Pay Transparency
Anticipated Total Target Compensation (TTC), inclusive of annual salary and bonus eligibility, is $50,000 to $70,000 CAD annually.
