In this role, you’ll help users with their IT issues, ensure systems run smoothly, and provide friendly, professional assistance across hardware, software, and network environments. This is a hands-on, highly visible front-line role — perfect for someone who enjoys being out in the Resort, helping people face-to-face, and solving both simple and complex IT problems as they arise.



Please note that the regular work week for this role is four days - Friday to Monday, over the weekend,Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues and requests across the Resort, providing hands-on, on-site support in person and via phoneRespond to IT issues where they occur, travelling across the Resort to offices, lodges, lifts, retail, food & beverage outlets, and operational spaces to resolve problems directlyAssess, troubleshoot, and resolve everyday IT issues (including simple and repetitive requests), escalating more complex issues when appropriate set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devicesAssist staff with basic technology needs, such as account management, connectivity issues, printer problems, account access, and device setupEscalate complex issues to senior I.T. staff when requiredDocument issues, solutions, and procedures via internal WikiAssist with system updates, patches, and basic security practicesCommunicate clearly and patiently with users who have a wide range of technical skills and experience.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to resolve basic and complicated, high-volume IT requests efficientlyStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyProven experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role (or relevant training)Strong understanding of Windows, macOS,



and Linux operating systemsFamiliarity with Microsoft 365, email systems, common business applications and Point of Sale systemsBasic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN)Valid Class 5 driver’s LicenseReliable means of transportation to and from the ResortDesirable (But Not Essential)IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft certifications)Experience with remote support toolsBasic knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and legislationExposure to programming or scripting languages such as Go, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similarBasic understanding of databases, including concepts such as tables, queries, and relationships (e.g., SQL)Interest in automation, system integration, or progressing toward more advanced IT rolesResort ConditionsWorking at a Winter Resort means no two days are the same, and that's part of the adventure!

You’ll get to experience a variety of unique locations, from cozy lodges to scenic mountain-top venues only accessible by chairlift. Be prepared to embrace the elements; whether it's bluebird skies, fresh snowfall, or the infamous coastal rain. Expect to navigate multi-level lodges, steep stairways, and outdoor areas where the terrain can be sloped, snowy, muddy, or slippery, so good footwear is essential, indoors and out.
