The Occupational Therapist position at WRHN is a full-time, temporary role working 0.8 FTE, Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage rotation. You will engage with patients in outpatient neuro rehabilitation, ensuring their safety and optimized care. Your expertise with stroke, neurological, and respiratory patients will enhance community-driven health care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments for patients
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions




• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary health care team
• Participate in ongoing patient progress evaluations
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Experience with stroke and neurological patients preferred
• Membership in CAOT or OSOT is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed
• Valuable attendance record and hospital experience preferred
