Our Sample Preparation

Facility uses specialized machinery to crush mining samples into material that is ready for testing in our laboratories.Key Responsibilities:Retrieving and staging boxes on carts for weighersReturning and scanning boxes into storage after weighingSupporting weighing tasks as requiredRinging, sieving (including international soils), crushing, and splitting under direct supervisionLoading and unloading drying ovens under supervisionMaintaining production logsPerforming general cleaning duties to maintain lab cleanlinessAssisting with layout duties and tasks as neededUsing correct methods in accordance with established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical qualityFollowing established safety regulations and complying with all ALS health and safety policies and proceduresPerforming other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Good hand-eye coordinationStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic alphanumeric comprehensionBasic English communication skills (written and verbal)Required Qualifications:Grade 12 diploma preferredPhysical Demands:Wear full body PPEAbility to lift up to 20 lbsAbility to sit and/or stand for up to 7.5 hours per dayManual dexterity to perform repetitive tasksOur benefits includes:An estimated hourly pay starting from $27.10 at the time of posting.
