Lethbridge County is hiring 2 Permanent Divisional Grader Operators to support road maintenance, construction, drainage, and public works projects throughout the County.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Operate graders and other heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, dozers, and scrapers as required and directed
- Work independently to maintain Lethbridge County's road network in an assigned division or geographic area
- Support other crews to maintain and prepare their worksites as required
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Report mechanical issues and assist with minor troubleshooting and maintenance
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and participate in Lethbridge County's Health and Safety program
- Assist with general labour duties as required
Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Qualified and competent operating a grader safely and independently, required
- Experience operating other heavy equipment in road construction, drainage, or civil construction, an asset
- Solid understanding of and focus on safe work practices, required
- Mechanical knowledge, an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, required
- A satisfactory Police Information Check and Driver's Abstract are required for successful applicants.
Working Conditions
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Overtime and weekend work may be required

Pay: $33.77-$35.85 per hour
