Ottawa

You Weren’t Handed Much. You Built Anyway.

We’re helping a client find a very particular kind of person.

He's building a growing real estate team around a much bigger mission, and we’re less interested in finding someone who simply fits a traditional than we are in finding someone who sees themselves in what he's trying to build.

We’ll share more about the organization as we get further into the process. What he’s building — and the kind of people he wants to build it with — is what’s important at this stage.

The owner believes real estate can be more than a business. It can be a vehicle for helping ordinary people create opportunities, build financial security and change the trajectory of their lives and the lives of their friends and families.

And he’s looking for someone who wants to help build that with him.

Some people grow up believing the system is built for them.

They have connections. They have a safety net. They know the right people. Someone teaches them about money, investing, careers and opportunity.

And some of us figure it out the hard way.

We learn to work.

We learn to be resourceful.

We learn to keep going when things aren't going our way.

We learn that if something needs to get done, sometimes you just have to roll up your sleeves and do it yourself.

If that sounds familiar, keep reading.

This isn't simply an administrative assistant job.

This role starts at $20/hour — but that's the starting point, not where we expect the right person to stay.

Yes, you'll need to be exceptionally organized. You’ll need to be task-oriented.

You'll keep things on track. You'll build systems. You'll coordinate clients, schedules, transactions and projects. You'll notice things other people miss. You'll bring order to situations that could easily become chaotic.

But that's just where you begin — not where you end up.

We're building this real estate team around a bigger idea:

“Where you started shouldn't determine where you finish.”

We believe ordinary people can build extraordinary lives when they're given the right environment, expectations, knowledge and prospect.

We're building a real estate team where people grow together — professionally, financially and personally.

That includes you.

We're looking for someone who's already proven something to themselves.

Maybe it was school.

Maybe it was sports.

Maybe it was music.

Maybe it was something else.

Maybe you worked your way into a position nobody expected you to reach.

Maybe there wasn't much structure around you growing up, so you became the structured one.

You learned to organize.

You learned to prepare.

You learned to be dependable.

You learned that when other people dropped the ball, you didn't.

We're interested in the person who can look back at their life and say:

"I wasn't given every advantage, but I made something of myself anyway."

You don't need to be an entrepreneur.

You don't need to want to become a Realtor.

And you don't need to pretend you have your entire life figured out.

But you do need to want more for yourself and expect more from yourself.

What you'll actually help build

You'll work directly with the owner of this growing real estate organization to help build the operating foundation behind the team.

You'll help create the systems that allow our Realtors to perform at a higher level.

You'll help make sure our clients receive an exceptional experience.

You'll help onboard new people and make them feel like they've joined something they can be proud of.

You'll help turn ideas into processes and processes into things that actually happen.

You'll become one of the people others rely on to make the organization work.

And as the organization grows, we want your responsibilities, capabilities, income and opportunities to grow with it.

But there's another part to this.

We don't just want to sell houses.

We want to help people change their financial trajectory.

A lot of people work hard their entire lives without anyone ever teaching them how money actually works.

Nobody teaches them how to save.

Nobody teaches them how to build assets.

Nobody shows them how someone with an ordinary income might eventually own an investment property.

Meanwhile, they watch people who already have money continue to get further ahead.

We want to help change that.

Our team will help everyday people understand real estate, home ownership, investing and wealth building — because this information shouldn't belong only to people who grew up around money.

And the same philosophy starts inside our own organization.

We want the people who help build this organization to become stronger because they were here.

More capable.

More confident.

More valuable.

More financially knowledgeable.

And, over time, capable of building assets and opportunities of their own.

You might belong here if...

You're the person people describe as organized,

dependable and resourceful.

You take pride in doing things properly.

You don't need someone constantly standing over you.

You've accomplished something difficult that required discipline and persistence.

You've probably had moments in life when quitting would have been easier.

You didn't.

You may have a little bit of a chip on your shoulder — not because you think the world owes you something, but because you'd like to prove what you're capable of.

You're comfortable around ambitious people without needing to be the person standing in the spotlight.

And you'd rather help build something meaningful than spend the next ten years simply processing someone else's paperwork.

This probably isn't for you if...

You want a job where you can disappear into the background.

You need every task spelled out before you take action.

You're uncomfortable being held to a high standard.

Or you're looking for somewhere to simply put in your hours and collect a paycheque.

There's nothing wrong with those jobs.

This just isn't one of them.

What success could become

We aren't looking for someone to remain an assistant forever.

We're looking for someone who can become part of the backbone of this organization.

That could eventually mean leading operations.

Managing people.

Building systems.

Leading major areas of the business.

Helping develop new team members.

Taking increasing responsibility as the organization grows.

And building a career and financial future you're proud of along the way.

This role starts at $20/hour. As you take on more — building the systems, running onboarding, becoming one of the people this organization actually relies on — there's a real path to $26–$28/hour within your first two years. Every six months, we'll sit down and look at what you've taken on and delivered — with the opportunity for your pay to grow with it.

Your ceiling shouldn't be determined by the circumstances you were born into.

It should be determined by what you're willing to build from here.

If you've spent your life figuring things out, overcoming obstacles and quietly proving people wrong, we'd like to meet you.

To apply

Don't just send us a résumé.

Tell us about one thing you've accomplished in your life that you're genuinely proud of — something that required discipline, resilience or determination.

It doesn't have to be related to real estate.

We want to understand the person behind the résumé.

Then tell us why the idea of helping build an organization like this means something to you.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
