Guest Readiness Associate – Edmonton The Role

As a Guest Readiness Associate, you will be responsible for the cleaning, care, organization, and general upkeep of the Riverview Apartments building in Edmonton, Alberta. This building has 12 short term rentals and the rest long term tenants.

This is a critical role in delivering an excellent guest experience. Your work directly impacts the cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of our properties for every guest. The majority of the role involves vacation rental changeover cleaning, with additional responsibilities including general building cleaning, on-site laundry, move-out cleans, unit inspections, and property showings.

This is a physically demanding position that requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently while also being part of a team.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of vacation rental units between guests
- Complete vacation rental changeover cleans according to established company standards
- Clean and maintain common areas and other areas of the building as required
- Operate and maintain on-site laundry facilities, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
- Complete move-out cleans to a high standard
- Inspect units for damage, missing items, maintenance concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- Report maintenance issues and property concerns promptly
- Maintain and replenish inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest essentials
- Assist with general building and property upkeep as needed
- Assist with unit showings and ensure units are clean, presentable, and ready for prospective guests or clients
- Troubleshoot basic property issues and communicate concerns to the appropriate team member
- Follow established cleaning, safety, and operational procedures




- Use hand tools and basic maintenance equipment as required
- Complete additional property-care tasks as needed

You will be required to work independently and occasionally alongside other team members. This position is based at one building in Edmonton, providing a more consistent work location than our mobile cleaning roles. This role has opportunities for growth and expanded responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and takes pride in their work. Performance will also play a factor in available hours, with additional hours and opportunities available to strong performers.

Skills & Qualifications

- Previous cleaning experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently
- Ability to clean a variety of surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and techniques
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and moving supplies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, guests, and clients when required
- Able to identify and report maintenance issues and property concerns
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and general maintenance is an asset
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
- Hardworking and dependable

Requirements
- Available to work between 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM or later
- Strong spoken and written English
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable performing physically demanding cleaning and property-care tasks
- Clean criminal background check
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality, or property-care experience is an asset
- Basic handyman/maintenance skills are an asset
- A driver's licence is not required for this position

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who understands that cleaning a vacation rental is about more than simply cleaning a space. The details matter. Beds need to be made properly, supplies need to be replenished, issues need to be noticed and reported, and every unit should be left feeling guest-ready.
