Network Engineer / Network Architect (CCNA / CCNP) | Dispatch Freelance Contract

Sharp Brains Limited is actively seeking an experienced Network Engineer / Network Architect to join our global network of field engineers. This is a Dispatch-Based Freelance Contract , ideal for professionals looking to support enterprise networking, security, and data center projects on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable network solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Implement and support enterprise network infrastructure, security, and connectivity solutions.
- Perform network assessments, architecture reviews, and provide strategic design recommendations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Deploy and maintain network security technologies and best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, as-built documentation, BOMs, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support operational escalations and ensure network performance, availability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network architecture and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in enterprise networking, network architecture, or infrastructure engineering.




- Strong hands-on experience with:
- F5 Load Balancers
- Advanced knowledge of:
- TCP/IP
- IPSEC Site-to-Site VPN
- Client VPN
- NAT
- VRF
- Strong understanding of Data Center technologies:
- VPC
- VDC
- FCoE
- Virtual Switching

- Expertise in Layer 2 technologies:
- Switching
- VLANs
- Spanning Tree Protocol (STP)

- Expertise in Layer 3 routing protocols:
- BGP
- OSPF
- EIGRP
- MPLS
- Experience with Wireless Network Design and Configuration.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
