Handyperson (5–10 yrs exp) | Montreal, QC | Full time | Bilingual (FR/EN)

We’re looking for a reliable, experienced Handyperson to join our team in a corporate office building in the heart of Montreal. This role supports day-to-day building operations, maintenance, safety, and event/office setup. Key Responsibilities

- Inspect machinery, equipment, building systems, and HVAC components.
- Perform routine repairs and simple MEP maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and follow up on light current systems; read manuals and coordinate with specialists as needed.
- Supervise and receive work from contractors and service providers.
- Check and follow up on HVAC and fire-fighting (FF) panels.
- Conduct monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency signage, lights, tools, and machines using provided checklists.




- Manage and complete assigned work orders and PPM tasks (including inspections and metre readings).
- Prepare and review work permits, assessments, and reports to confirm maintenance activities.
- Submit monthly maintenance reports with detailed observations.
- Manage utilities across all sites through meter readings, recharge requests, and coordination with utility providers.
- Assist with meeting room setup, office events, décor, catering arrangements, and furniture placement.

Requirements

- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or handyman roles.
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and with contractors.
- Excellent references are required.
