Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Barista to lead our coffee team and elevate the customer experience. As the Head Barista, you will oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and team members.

Duties

- Lead and motivate the barista team to provide exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee beverages
- Assist with daily store operations, including opening, closing, and shift management
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for accurate transactions and cash handling
- Train new team members on food preparation, serving techniques, POS usage, and customer service best practices
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; assist with placing orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols throughout the workspace
- Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations




- Foster a positive team environment through coaching, feedback, and recognition of outstanding performance

Requirements

- Proven barista experience with solid knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in the food industry or food service environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience in serving food and preparing beverages in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, transaction balancing, and inventory management
- Ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining high energy levels throughout shifts
