Join AgeCare South Terrace in Edmonton as a Health Care Aide. Make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate resident-focused care under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse. In this casual role, you will collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality services to residents.
Utilizing your knowledge and skill set, you'll perform basic care duties, observe resident conditions, and report observations timely to nursing staff. Your contributions will help foster a holistic Nursing Care Plan while assisting residents with mobility and community engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide resident-focused care within your scope of practice
- Observe and report changes in resident status promptly
- Contribute to the Nursing Care Plan with relevant information
- Assist residents with mobility and community activities
- Identify and report any unsafe activities Requirements:
- Graduate of Health Care Aide program or equivalent
- Experience in community health services with seniors
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification recommended
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain Deliver compassionate care and enjoy making a difference in residents' lives at AgeCare in Edmonton.
