Job #1 Monday to Sunday 7:00AM-11:30AM Rotating weekends Saturday, Sunday, and Friday night 5:30PM-7:30PM (it can work into more hours with the right person.

Position #2 Monday to Sunday rotating Home Support

You will need a car for both of these positions as we drive client to client in their own homes.

This position is a permanent position.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the safety and well-being of clients. This role is essential for supporting individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice care.

Prior experience in caregiving or healthcare is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to the right candidates.

Duties

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with activities of daily living to promote independence
- Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with transfers and heavy lifting when necessary using proper techniques
- Support clients during outings or appointments as required

Qualifications





- Experience in assisted living, senior care, or working with individuals in home setting.
- Knowledge of dementia care and home care practices is desirable
- Ability to drive clients to and from their appointments, grocery shopping,
- Strong communication skills and compassionate nature
- Basic understanding of medication administration and patient care procedures
- Previous experience in nursing home settings or caregiving roles is advantageous
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant certifications such as CPR or first aid are a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed
