Visual Designer

- Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
- Pay Rate: $72.47/hr - $85.57/hr
- Contract Length: 12 Months

We at Raise are hiring a Visual Designer for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand.

Responsibilities:

- End-to-end dedicated designer on the mobile banking app pillar, responsible for the ownership of the design process from discovery, high-fidelity design, accessibility, and visual design testing to release support.
- Supporting the visual creative direction of the mobile banking app, with a keen understanding of both iOS and Android native patterns and interactions.

Must have skills:

- 5+ years of experience as a Visual Designer with a strong focus on UI and visual design.
- Outstanding portfolio showcasing modern, clean,



visually appealing designs with strong attention to detail and current design trends.
- Solid collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally with designers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong communications skills.
- Mobile application design experience is required
- Proficiency with design and collaboration tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Mural, Jira, and Confluence.
- Design system + token/variables

Nice-to-haves

- Previous experience in Finance, Commercial Banking, or Payments domain.
- Banking/financial services experience is nice to have but not mandatory.
- Workshop Facilitation
- Storytelling skills
