Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our construction and heavy machinery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a variety of heavy equipment, including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators. This role requires mechanical knowledge and experience with construction or farm machinery to ensure efficient and secure project completion.

The Equipment

Operator will play a vital role in supporting construction projects by handling heavy equipment with precision and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators in accordance with project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and other crew members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance activities.




- Transport heavy machinery using commercial driving licenses when necessary for job site mobility.

Skills

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on machinery.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and other heavy machinery brands used in construction.
- Ability to operate farm machinery and commercial vehicles as needed.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation.
- Excellent coordination skills and attention to detail during operation tasks.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site requirements. This position offers an opportunity for experienced equipment operators to contribute their skills on diverse construction projects while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.

Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $21.71-$35.00 per hour
