You can perform a variety of tasks to make the customer experience more enjoyable and ensure they come back. We may require your services at the counter to take out.
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring they receive exceptional guest services and a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a hospitable demeanor, and experience in food service or hospitality environments.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and provide accurate information about the restaurant or hotel services
- Take reservations, greet customers, present the menu, make suggestions, and answer questions about the menu and beverages.
- Applies the rules of hygiene and health and safety.
- Performs all or part of the function or duties related to the maintenance of the restaurant and equipment.
- Ensures that the workstation is always kept clean.
- Organizes his/her workstation efficiently.
- Use sales techniques.
- Maintains dining room menus.

- To provide exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their experience
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Executes all other tasks requested by the manager.
Skills To have good interpersonal skills, to be at ease in contacts, to have team spirit, a sense of collaboration, the ability to adapt to a situation, good communication in French required, and must have good listening skills. Being dynamic, honest, and success- oriented is a must. You will have to be able to work well during rush hour.
- Proven experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality roles preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal interaction
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant protocols is a plus
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is beneficial but not required
- Professional appearance and positive attitude essential for creating a welcoming environment
Pay: $17.75-$18.00 per hour
