About the Role

As a Host, you will play an essential role in setting the tone for our guests’ experience. You will help create a warm and inviting atmosphere by welcoming guests, managing the flow of service and ensuring each visit begins on a positive note. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment while working closely with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the first and last point of contact for every guest, creating a welcoming and positive first impression from arrival to departure
- Greet and acknowledge all guests within 30 seconds while providing attentive and professional service
- Manage the OpenTable floor plan, reservations, walk-in lists, and guest queue to ensure smooth and efficient seating flow




- Assess guest needs and direct them between full table service and the Cafe counter experience based on their preferences and estimated wait times
- Provide accurate wait time estimates and proactively communicate updates to guests
- Monitor table pacing and the 90-minute dining timer in Clover to support efficient table turnover
- Communicate section flow, guest needs, and pacing updates with servers and the Manager on Duty to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring every interaction reflects the standards and hospitality of the restaurant

Qualifications

- Previous restaurant experience required
- Smart Serve certification required
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized under pressure
- Availability to work versatile shifts including weekdays, weekends and holidays
