IAM Solution Expert – Microsoft Entra ID

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IAM Solution Expert – Microsoft Entra ID to join a Global Cyber Security team focused on building secure, scalable, and modern Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.

The role will focus on Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), application integration, identity governance, workload/non-human identities, lifecycle automation, and Zero Trust security.

You will work closely with security, platform, engineering, development, and enterprise technology teams to establish standardized IAM integration patterns and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and refine requirements for application onboarding, lifecycle automation, and IAM configuration.

- Design and standardize enterprise integration patterns using Microsoft Entra ID.

- Develop solutions for SSO, federation, application identities, and workload identities.

- Establish application onboarding standards covering ownership, authorization models, and integration types.

- Automate lifecycle management for applications, agents, service principals, and other non-human identities.

- Define and enforce governance for API permissions, application consent, approvals, and least-privilege access.

- Establish secure integration patterns using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with overprivileged access, unmanaged credentials, missing ownership, and non-human identities.

- Contribute to Zero Trust architecture and identity-centric security initiatives.

- Support emerging identity requirements related to AI agents, workload identities, and autonomous access governance.

- Collaborate with security, platform, development, and DevOps teams to create reusable integration approaches.

- Support IAM integrations with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow,



workflow engines, and CI/CD toolchains.

- Participate in IAM governance reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Take ownership of assigned IAM capabilities or architectural domains.

- Facilitate technical discussions, support decision-making, and resolve integration and governance issues.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or 5 years of relevant industry experience.

- 5 years of experience in IAM architecture, with strong experience in Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD.

- Strong understanding of
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD

- SSO and federation

- OAuth 2.0

- OpenID Connect (OIDC)

- SAML

- API permission and consent governance

- Robust experience with non-human/workload identities, including:

- Application registrations

- Service principals

- Managed identities

- Workload identities

- Proven experience defining enterprise IAM target architectures and integration standards.

- Experience designing identity lifecycle automation and governance frameworks.

- Experience integrating IAM with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, workflow engines, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture and least-privilege principles.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.

- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to facilitate technical discussions and work effectively with diverse teams.

- Fluent in English.

- German language skills are an asset.
