Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting from a variety of ice cream and gelato flavors, toppings, and specialty desserts
- Prepare and serve food items accurately, maintaining high standards of food handling and sanitation
- Operate POS systems such as CLOVER POS to process orders efficiently and accurately, handling cash and card transactions with precision
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
- Upsell additional toppings or specialty items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, display cases, and serving areas in accordance with food safety regulations




- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff

Qualifications

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as CLOVER POS or similar cash handling tools
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and giving accurate change
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
