Become a Resource and Support Worker at the Indigenous Justice Centre in Williams Lake, BC. This position provides full-time, culturally relevant support to Indigenous clients within the legal framework. For a fixed six-month term, this role emphasizes strong client connections and community engagement.

You will assist clients in navigating legal processes, accessing community resources, and developing healing plans. Building trust through effective communication and support networks is vital for client's success during legal proceedings. Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Client Service Team and legal counsel
- Connect clients with food security and family resources
- Support clients in completing necessary legal documents
- Enhance connections to cultural and community services
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure ongoing support Requirements:
- Experience (1–4 years) in Indigenous community settings
- Minimum 3 years in social or community work roles
- Understanding of trauma-informed care practices
- Valid BC Driver's License and transparent CPIC
- Proficient in MS Office applications Leverage your expertise to provide essential support to Indigenous clients in their legal journeys.
