Take on an impactful role as a Stewardship Officer with Variety – The Children’s Charity, located in Burnaby, BC. This maternity leave contract focuses on donor stewardship and developing critical philanthropy programs to uplift children’s lives.
As part of the Philanthropy Team, you will report to the Director and manage key donor relationships and stewardship initiatives. Your fundraising expertise will enable you to oversee significant donor portfolios, enhance recognition efforts, and coordinate Variety’s Volunteer Program. This role offers an opportunity to drive community impact through effective communication and relationship building with families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage relationships with 300+ donors to meet targets
• Oversee donor communications, including stewardship calls




• Coordinate volunteer programs and community initiatives
• Organize stewardship materials and event logistics
• Develop periodic stewardship reports for donor engagement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum of 3 years in a fundraising capacity
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Solid written and verbal communication competency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Raiser’s Edge preferred
