Instructor II - Field Hockey Coach

Natick Recreation and Parks is seeking energetic, responsible, and fun-loving applicants with volleyball experience who enjoy working with middle school students to join the Natick Rec team. These individuals will be tasked with running a middle school volleyball clinic, focused on teaching fundamentals and growing students’ love for the sport.

Essential Functions

- Provide administrative and management support to the admin./leadership team
- Provide leadership, energy and organization for participants and staff
- Oversee a middle school field hockey team, including practices and games
- Design and implement practices plans
- Contribute to and participate in activities, supervision, and programming.
- Enforce all rules and regulations
- Maintain attendance logs, communicate with leadership and participants’ families
- Set up and breakdown program




- Maintain facility, inventory all supplies and equipment
- Other Duties as assigned

Recommended Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field with increasing responsibility, including supervising staff.

Special Requirements

- Current CPR/FA Certification approved by Massachusetts State Health Department or ability to obtain upon hire

Compensation

This position is Grade 2 of the Town’s Part Time Pay Plan with an hourly range of $22.00 to $23.35 based upon qualifications and experience.
