Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our team in a fast-paced Japanese restaurant environment. As a server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, assisting with food preparation, and online orders when needed. Responsibilities

- Greet and seat customers, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Basic knowledge of Japanese menu items, including ingredients and the ability to explain them to customers, is required.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary restrictions are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any customer concerns promptly.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards by being attentive, responsive, and courteous at all times.
- Cleaning duties such as stocking, sanitizing, sweeping floors,



washing dishes

Experience

- Previous experience in Japanese food service is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions efficiently.
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safe service in accordance with health regulations.
- A passion for the food industry and a desire to contribute positively to the restaurant workplace
