Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes to ensure timely service
- Support the cooking process by following recipes and kitchen standards to produce high-quality meals
- Handle food safely by adhering to hygiene protocols and proper storage procedures
- Serve dishes efficiently to customers or assist in food service areas to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts




- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
- Collaborate with team members to uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and hygiene standards
- Ability to assist with meal preparation and cooking tasks efficiently
- Solid understanding of the food industry practices related to serving and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Basic physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving throughout shifts
