Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to support chefs and cooks
- Help with cooking activities under supervision to ensure timely meal service
- Support food handling procedures by maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations
- Serve food to guests or staff in accordance with established serving protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold health standards
- Organize and store ingredients and supplies efficiently for easy access during meal prep




- Follow all safety guidelines related to food handling, cooking, and kitchen operations to prevent accidents or contamination

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques such as chopping, mixing, or assembling ingredients is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or food industry setting will help you thrive in this role
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining a positive attitude and teamwork spirit
